Your praise for this rather unremarkable album is simply in my opinion unwarranted, but like, get your life. I mean, pop gold? Breath of fresh air? 80's homage? It's just another Max Martin 2014/5 sounding generic pop album, and while there's nothing wrong with that, that's all it is.
I agree about How You Get The Girl being a 10 though, so there's that.

Not really, the Bad Blood thing came out before 1989 was released and I still bought the album, I'm not gonna hate on Taylor just because of the Katy thing. I have no problem saying that I stanned hard for 1989 during its first month of release. Outside of that, I haven't had much use for it though.

its probably because im really into actual 80s music and i cant stand it when artists now try to do it pretty poorly like taytay, carly, or katy (although katy is more 70s pop rock-ish lately)
