the bad ass strong woman that wears clothing not suited for combat, has a slim non muscular body, and is sexualized is almost as infuriating as the damsel in distress.
They give her a freaking leotard while the men get incognito fancy suits with bulletproof vests
I liked all actors to be honest, even the woman playing Krissi, and I applaud all of them because they seemed to get the book more than the director/screenwriter, who ****ed it up and left the best characters out ( Diane...)
I wouldn't know. I didn't read the book. At least you liked the movie, though, Robert.

In film, when the woman is actually knocked down hard with a slap or punch (from a man), that's actually more realistic than when it has zero effect. It's just basic genetics. Men are genetically stronger than and bigger than women, physically. The fantasy part of film is when the "action woman" gets a punch to the face by some 215-pound henchman, and keeps right on fighting, especially when she looks like Scarlett Johannson, lol. Not that women can't take a punch. There's female boxers, and She-Hulk isn't going down easily, but in general, women aren't as strong as men, physically. And that's why I'm always disgusted with dramatic, flamboyant gay men who think that they're allowed to fight women just because they see themselves as a woman. Nah, bro, you're a man, and even though you're the flamboyant homosexual type (not that there's anything wrong with that), you're still genetically stronger than that woman you're trying to fight, and she's at a disadvantage, and you're wrong to hit a woman. So, stop it.

...Vin
No no, don't get it twisted, I hate the movie But the actors made it at least watchable
Jamie and Britney's doctors have stabilized her to the point she can successfully work and maintain a personal life.
We're told Britney -- who has a team of lawyers and doctors, along with Jamie, managing the conservatorship -- has "substantial day-to-day freedom" to make her own decisions.
...wtf?
The fact that the amount to which she has basic human rights is constantly brought into question and publicized The way in which she has a "team of doctors and lawyers!!" to make sure her circus act/lobotomy'd life doesn't go right back into 2007 mode
It's terrible, she didn't give it new life but rather ruined the memory of it. No wonder the non SJW world hates her
Metacritic - M.I.A., Kala - 87/100
Hate to be "that guy" but, lol, this is nearly 20 points higher than Britney's highest Metacritic score.
Miiight tell you a thing or two about whether or not a song is actually really that "terrible"
Using SJW as an insult is seriously bottom feeder'd. Do better
The fact that you can't seem to drag her without going a decade into the past. I thought I was supposed to be a nostalgia stan. Speaking of a team of lawyers, has Ke$has accused Katy Perry of being raped yet or did he give up once the L A judge made the case defunct and did Maya ever get out of that 16 million dollar lawsuit for her Superbowl attention grabbing stint?
2007: Britney goes on gorilla'd, umbrella-flinging rampage with shaved head, America freaks out/disconnects/points, laughs
*one decade later*
2015: We're told Britney -- who has a team of lawyers and doctors, along with Jamie, managing the conservatorship -- has "substantial day-to-day freedom" to make her own decisions.
Picking out which spoon to have with your morning bowl of Cheerios doesn't strike me as substantial but who knows!

Well I hate to little monster this argument but has she won more grammys than Katy yet? Or did that acclaim at least help her get nominated as much. Don't talk about bottom feeding when defending M I A, that's just a self drag.
