Fellow Dr. Luke girl Ke$ha who had an even more disparaging and offputting airhead image - known as the party girl who drinks piss, ***** glitter and washes her teeth with a bottle of Jack - was taken somewhat seriously by critics (two albums in the 70% range on MC).
What's Katy's excuse here? Are her albums just mediocre?

Last we heard she was fishing in New Zealand and legit forgetting that she has a job as a popstar. Joel and her were getting down to writing it a couple of months ago or so IIRC.
The album isn't bad. Same for TD, the singles are really good.
Hot n Cold is the only really good song for sure
