Me too - there is a great song in the broadway show of B&TB that uses it though. I've always loved the main instrumental theme. The way it swings in during the transformation scene >
The only issue with BATB, at all, is how plainly they revealed the Beast. Like, in that opening scene, you see him, and it's not dramatic or interesting like it is later when Belle goes to the castle. Wish they could've cut him out of that opening.
Also, I prefer him as a beast, but that's just me.

I remember when he stood up as a human and faced Belle my sister was like That's it? That's him?...
I hope Disney will return to classic folklore and fables for their next movies. Frozen was a step in the right direction though the movie could have been quite a bit darker for The Snow Queen. Their original storylines blow.

A VERY long time ago in a forum I read a rumor about a Disney movie in production but it was made with pastels. Pretty sure the poster thought that is how Tangled or Frozen was going to be. Just imagine
I had a set of really old fairytale books. At least, my mom did. They might've been lost in a recent move, but I'm not sure. There were all different colors, green, pink, yellow & blue; might've been more, not sure.I remember they had old tellings of Snow White & Cinderella, including one where the queen/stepmother/whichever (I don't remember which story it was) being forced to dance in hot iron shoes until she died. They were fantastic.
I meant the original fairy tales, not the Disney adaptations.
In Europe I read all the great fairy tales. In the US I read Roald Dahl and RL Stine.
I feel like I got the best of both worlds.
I read Hans Christian Anderson and The Brothers Grimm growing up but a lot of that has to do with me being interested in those original stories thanks to watching the Disney adaptations. I guess you are right in that that isn't really promoted amongst children but the USA is kinda lacking individual character due to how young it is so I'm not that shocked. We don't have that kind of attraction and longing towards our past like, say, the Europeans do.
It WAS Frozen. The original concept art is on Wiki. The project started out as 2D with two children just like the Snow Queen but then Disney changed it and we got a cowardly queen who is only popular because of her powers
