Ashley Tisdale Volunteers for "Get on the Bus" Campaign
On July 14, 2009,"Extreme Makeover: Home Edition" traveled to Green County, Missouri to tell the eight members of the Hampton family all living in a cramped one-bedroom, one-bath cottage, 792 sq. ft. total that they'll have a new home in seven days. The original family of four doubled in size not long ago after a fateful phone call from a social services agency. Chris and Niki Hampton were told they had just one hour to decide if they would take in their four nieces and nephews or let them go to foster care.
Ashley Tisdale will be the celebrity volunteer for this build.
Chris and Niki didn't hesitate to open their hearts and home to young Gage, Kira, Lexi and Jacob, who now range in age from two to eight years old. Squeezing out the space for them, together with eleven-year-old son Dakota and eight-year-old daughter Hannah, has been the real challenge. Currently the three boys share one set of bunk beds in the dining room, and the three girls share another set of bunks in what used to be a utility closet. Since the cottage has no closets, plastic storage bins are stacked floor-to-ceiling in every room. Dinner is served assembly line-style, and everyone sits on the floor except for the youngest children in booster seats.
What the family lacks in comfort and space, they more than make up for in love. The children are incredibly close literally and figuratively and Chris and Niki look forward to the day when they move beyond full legal custody of their nieces and nephews to become their adoptive parents. Chris, a land surveyor, basketball and football coach, and president of the Missouri Family Rodeo Association (MFRA), and Niki, a saleswoman and MFRA secretary, also have rescued six horses that live on their five-acre farm along with three dogs.
The Hampton family will go on a Disney Cruise vacation while the "Extreme Makeover: Home Edition" team, local builder Millstone Home, workers and volunteers transform their home. The design team for this episode will feature team leader Ty Pennington and designers Michael Moloney and Paige Hemmis. Ashley Tisdale has quickly become one of Hollywood's brightest talents. She starred opposite Zac Efron in the original movie musical, "High School Musical." The film premiered in January 2006 and was the highest rated telecast in Disney Channel history. Ashley made music history by being the first female artist to ever debut with two songs simultaneously on the Billboard Hot 100 chart ("Bop To The Top" and "What I've Been Looking For," both from the RIAA triple-platinum certified "High School Musical" soundtrack). "High School Musical 2" premiered as the most-watched cable telecast of all time. "High School Musical 3: Senior Year's" theatrical release opened at #1 in the box office with over a quarter of a billion dollars in sales. Ashley recently won a MTV Movie Award for "Breakthrough Performance: Female" for her performance in "High School Musical 3: Senior Year."
Ashley will next be seen in the feature film "Aliens in the Attic." This year she is slated to start shooting a starring role in the feature "Teen Witch." She also executive produced and starred in the feature "Picture This," which aired on ABC family to a #1 telecast rating. She gained worldwide notoriety by playing Maddie, a hotel candy counter clerk and baby-sitter of devious twin boys who live in The Tipton Hotel on the Disney Channel #1 hit series, "The Suite Life of Zack & Cody."
Ashley's sophomore album, "Guilty Pleasure," will be released on July 28th. Her debut album, "Headstrong," has sold over a million copies worldwide.
"Extreme Makeover: Home Edition" is produced by Endemol USA, a division of Endemol Holding. It is executive-produced by Anthony Dominici. David Goldberg is Chairman, Endemol North America.

Hey, Ashley's Fool, do you know where I could watch or download the 2nd version of "Be Good To Me" video (the same performance, mixed with some home footage, using a rap version of the song) and the 1st original version of "He Said She Said" (the one directed by Chris Applebaum, in a high school or somethin), please!!!!

2 of the 3 promo singles released were about to enter to the HOT 100, so it might do well in the US
