LOL, I was flipping through the channels and I just saw the "It's Alright, It's OK" video on disney channel.
So much for not using disney channel this time around. WB must of thought disney channel was the last option since the single failed at radio. It does take away from the whole "grown up" image she was going for but it was a smart choice IMO.

Um... basically any video made by any Disney artist is shown there unless it's too racy. IAIO isn't racy at all. All she's doing is talking about getting over a guy, which is a common plot is several Disney shows and movies. It's on Radio Disney, too. Why is it a surprise? They'd play a Hilary Duff video, too, if it wasn't racy. Radio Disney played "With Love," however Disney Channel didn't play the video because it was too racy, but the song wasn't. Radio Disney even plays stuff from Avril, Pussycat Dolls, P!nk, etc. as long as it doesn't talk about drugs, sex, or violence, Radio Disney will play it, and if it's by a "Disney artist", Disney Channel will play it. Why is it such a shocker to see IAIO on DC? It's not like Radio Disney or Disney Channel have huge impacts on the music charts unless it's actually used in their shows and movies.

I was also only bringing up RD since it's 100% connected to Disney. Also, RD is on my television whether I want it there or not. I can't flip through stations to find something I like? No? yeah disney played the video, but they played just her performing hear the pool. Nothing much was shown of the video, they cut out where her boyfriend comes home to find the place trashed and the pictures. they made the video look more like a performance video

And disney channel played "Keep It Movin" because Keke's mother actually asked disney channel to play it since Atlantic wasn't promoting. Disney channel only has the right to play videos from Hollywood Records artists, they have to get premission to play an artist's video from another label no matter if they were/are a disney star which includes Ashley. WB obviously tapped disney to play the video as a form of promotion just like they did with "Be Good To Me". Disney just can't play Ashley's video without premission from her label first.
