Style's chorus, right down to its vocal cadences, is an obvious Teenage Dream retread. You could literally overlay "you make me feel like I'm living a teenage dream" above "you got that James Dean daydream look in your eyes" (gr8 lyric btw) and it'd fit exactly. Then apply that to the rest of the chorus. And the production to 22 is literally a faux-twangy Xerox of Teenage Dream. Numerous critics noted this.

But yes, American Girl is another fantastic example.
