Exactly. I have previously said that I was annoyed that in past years Paula the publicist allowed all that BS to go on without being checked. Taylor called out Nicki's innuendo implying her video didn't deserve to be nominated. I doubt she would have responded but she thought Nicki was her friend. Who cares that some no-marks give her flack for standing up for herself and her work? Taylor has literally millions of fans who have her back. Taylor stood up to Spotify and Apple. And she stood up for her nomination too. Well done to her.

After seeing gifs of Taylor's interviews where she was obviously and shamelessly showing how fond and proud she was about Nicki, I can understand why she did it. Taylor must have felt really hurt and betrayed

I understand you, I understand that racism still happens, and that it's more difficult for a black women to be succesful
And maybe it would have been more intelligent for Taylor to shut up

But Nicki has no right to be complaining, her video wasn't good and we all know that, you can't compare it to #1 songs like BB and WB (the only video sthat she could be refering with those tweets)
She didn't deserve that nomination, and she doens't have the right to say that she deserves it with that video.

MTV has always supported her, until yesterday, she got more nominations than Taylor (7 vs 6), even if she started being nominated 2 years later, she hoster last year's MTV EMA's, got 4 nominations and performed a medley of 3 songs, and she performed twice in last years VMA's.
And now she calls them racist? Ok Nicki...

Of course you're right, but Anaconda deserved the nom. The video is iconic + better than most of that trash nominated. Anaconda should've been nominated for VOTY instead of Kendrick or Beyonce.

As far as Taylor's conerned, she should've ignored Nicki. Taylor has 60M followers, Nicki less than 20M. People would forget about Nicki's meltdown in 2 days whereas Taylor would remain the queen of people and things.
