Womanizer is also more critically acclaimed.
The 4695th most critically acclaimed song of all-time remains unbothered

That's because Circus the song didn't get a physical release there & back then France's charts were based on only physical sales.

Anyone with taste agrees that Circus is better than Womanizer.

Womanizer is her only single post breakdown that got ww promos. I would be surprised if those things you listed are not the way they are

I'm pretty much sure that Womanizer would appear on that IFPI list if it wasn't released in the forth quarter of the year. Most of Circus' sales date from 2009. Womanizer outsold Circus in every country.
For me, Womanizer is as good as Circus. I just can't decide, both are pop masterpieces. About success, Womanizer obliterates Circus.

Duh, Circus > Womanizer in the same way TTWE > HIAM.
I wish I could say that Perfume > Work Bitch too, but I guess they 'fixed' the mistake of releasing the best song as the second single by the time Britney Jean rolled around.

I know. But Circus was the 10th best selling single in the world that year. It was clearly a worldwide hit as well.

Britney can drop B9 on the Friday before she does the Super Bowl Halftime show that Sunday -- then she can go ahead and retire and have the ten more kids she wants to have. I would feel completely content as a stan.

I hate how Britney's eras almost always start in the fourth quarter of the year. It really messes up her year-end charts positions

Okay I know it's been a while, like a week, but update: Thus far in full, I've listened to In the Zone, Blackout, Circus, and Femme Fatale.
I'd say currently In the Zone >>> but I have thoroughly enjoyed all of them for the most part!
Throughout this week I'll be listening to her first three albums, probably in reverse order.
Also, is BJ even worth listening to in full, or no? I've used WB and Perfume since they were released, so I'm not sure.

It's worth listening to BJ in full in order to appreciate the previous 7 albums even more.
So, like, once you've done from Baby to Femme Fatale and you might not like some as much, listen to BJ and then you'll think they're all masterpieces. The one good thing that album gave us: enhanced appreciation for the rest of her discography!

If you like her ballads, then you might like Hold On Tight and Passenger. If you like dated mid-90's Eurodance songs, then Til It's Gone could float your boat.
Other than that, stay away at all costs.

Welcome to the darkside
Compared to her discography bj is unworthy.
Imo the good tracks are WB, Perfume, Alien, Hold on tight, Dont Cry, Tik Tik Boom and my fave, Til its Gone.
TiG may take a while to get used to but once you get passed the artificial chorus, the song truly pumps you up.
