Since it's confirmed that past characters will be in Hotel, and that Frances Conroy won't be a main character this season, what if Shacath the Angel of Death will return at some point?



Since this season is giving me Cult/Demonic vibes I can definitely see her and Papa Legba making appearances.

There's a pic of the hotel logo which is CH and AHS is following Cecil Hotel on Twitter. They're not shooting in the hotel, though (though I think we knew that) I know it's not confirmation, but it makes plenty of sense. And the Elisa Ram rumors support it (AHS also tends to tie into real life events, like Black Dahlia in MH, Anne Frank in Asylum, and Axeman in Coven. IDK what FS's was)

Lea Michele herself tweeted many times that she was shooting 2 episodes (someetimes even 3 episodes) at once. Meaning one scene from episode 7, then one from episode 8, then one from 7, then one from 9 and then one from 8 for example.

And I also read that for the cast from "How to get away with Murder" so some shows def shoot episodes out of order. I guess it's all about logistics and when actors are available.

Gaga probably won't be in much of episode 1 but I'm sure she will be in it.

I thought she wouldn't be in the 1st episode, but now looking at the name of the episode. I bet she'll check in right at the end of the episode, and we'll have to wait till episode 2 to see more of her.

I agree. I also thought that they may leave Gaga out of episode one so they can create buzz for the 2nd episode (like a 2nd premiere u know), but it does make hella more sense that 1st episode will probably end with Gaga, the last 10 minutes maybe and we'll have to wait for episode 2 to see more of her..

Gaga could quite easily be involved heavily in the first episode, the show doesn't shoot chronologically anyway.

I've always thought that episodes are being filmed in a "messy but savy way"

for example if there are a lot of scenes at certain location, they'd be filming them at once, even though they might be from different episodes, no ?

Yes I would assume so.

If you have a certain location only appearing in two episodes it's better to shoot all those scenes right after each other to save time and costs.

For example I can imagine that the saxophone guy's bedroom from coven was shot in the same week eventhough it was feauture in several episodes.
