I agree with this. Except all races can have that, it's not only found in specific races (though it can be a theme in a certain race). That's why I can't take people seriously who rule out a whole race because it implies that everyone of said race is the same

I said I wouldn't date them because I RARELY find them attractive. If I could find one that I find pleases me the right way and has all the things that Im looking for and we have a connection then yes. I guess Im just more strict with my tolerance towards them. I don't mind them its just too much of a cultural barrier that I find is just more work. So, I never seek to find one.

African men are conditioned to have a "preference" (read-colorism) towards light skinned people. Nobody only dates outside of their race or dates only a single race due to a preference. As far as dating goes, I agree. People don't go around not dating people with curly hair even though they're not attracted to it. They don't have a prejudice of what they're like.
Now that I think about, racism is probably involved in most of the cases.

The question to you is why are looking within your own race? is it a preference you are only seeking a partner within your own race and excluding other races?
