Y'all were right in pointing out that both FMWUTTT and Ultraviolence have the lyric "lay me down tonight, in my diamonds and pearls". One of them will be out next while the other is top 20. But which is which?
Now this is a track that got ATRL talking! Before the release of the album Lana said the song was "about a singer who first sneered about my allegedly not authentic style but later she stole and copied it." However later Lana said it was about herself sleeping with executives. However it didn't get her anywhere in her career, which was "annoying". Honest Queen.
The song definitely wasn't what I expected it to be. It's so dreamy and one of my favourites on Ultraviolence. I figure it's only so polarizing because of the title, which is petty. But i digress!
