It feels so different compared to the rest of the series. My favorite moment from AHS is probably from Murder Haus.

Cecil Hotel is kind of ugly (aesthetically) for the show They're definitely not going to shoot there. The series could be inspired by the horrible stories and events there, but I hope not.

I'm happy that AHS was nominated a lot for the Emmys. But I haven't watched freak show yet. I think I'm gonna go ahead and start on it tonight or something.

I re-watched the Freak Show finale today funnily enough with everyone talking about it and I forgot how much I loved the characters in it, even if it was a messy season I loved the characters of Elsa and Desiree and even Bette and Dott.

I think the Neil Patrick Harris storyline was the most pointless 'storyline' in the whole show, what was the point coming in right at the end to just leave when his episodes could have been focused on better things?!

Think i'm going to re-watch Freak Show in bulk because I always forget what happened at the beginning of the series by the time it's the end lol

Finally finished Coven. I liked the season, but Asylum was better in terms of darkness and I liked Asylum's story/plot a bit more.

I found Katy Bates character messy and in a weird way funny... But only when she was in the present. It was just funny seeing her being so confused about how much society had changed and her always getting clocked by Queenie.

I totally agree that Freakshow is the worst season, and it definitely deserves most of the criticism it gets, but I am also getting tired of seeing people's hatred for the season cloud their judgement on Jessica's performance. I've watched this show, like 2-1/2 episodes before. Where should I start to really get the gist of it? I want to be completely caught up by Hotel

I'm over the moon to see Freak Show getting 20 Emmy nominations, well deserved! I hated it at first but then I realized that it wasn't as bad as people made it seem. I don't know why it takes too long for FX to add AHS on Netflix. They need to hurry because it's nowhere to be found on their website and I have to binge watch it.

Let's see how Hotel will fare. We all know who we're going to blame if it doesn't collect nominations.

Every season has a different storyline so there's nothing to really "catch up" with. There are seasons that fans like more than others, and so on. For instance, I'm not a big fan of Asylum even though everyone's obsessed with it.

But you should start with Murder House, then Asylum, Coven and Freak Show. In my opinion, the only different is how big the show gets year after year. You'll love Dr. Harmon from Murder House (he's a total daddy).
