I don't think it was ever confirmed who Alison's A was.
Could've been Charles, but it was heavily heavily implied as Mona. Especially in the Halloween episode when Mona came up to Ali and she asked if she knew Mona in which she replied "No. But you will soon". Then at the end, Ali gets a text saying "Dying to find out who I am? You'll find out". So...

Alison received this message the night she was "killed". Mona hates Alison but not enough to kill her. Mona isn't a killer. This person that send this text was really planning to kill Alison, and this person was obviously Charles.

Mere coincidence?. Like I said, Charles could very well be her A. But as of now, it was Mona. She was just threatening her. She wanted Ali out of Rosewood and she got what she wanted. And this one kind of proves it.
That person is still saying we'll see what he "claimed" I don't much believe it anymore.

Charles can't be Wren. Charles was still a patient at Radley up until 2 years ago, so there's no way Wren could become a doctor & work at Radley without being at least recognized by a staff member or patient.

Doubt it to be honest. I think Bethany and Charles were more lovers than anything else. I've actually been thinking that Sara & Bethany are maybe twins. Sara doesn't feel innocent to me. I really feel like she's working with Charles.

"Avery saw her going into the big park with her bike. They found the bike but not Sara". This could easily be the same Tyler State Park where A kept the girls. This could mean that A tricked her to go there but it could also mean she went willingly to work with Charles.
But maybe I shouldn't put too much thought into this, since there were rumors that Sara and her friends were going to be a spin off from this show. But then again she is included now... Hmm. Idk. I'm thinking out loud here. I do feel like Sara is somehow connected to all of this. Hell... Everyone is connected to this mess.
But the main question remains. Who killed Bethany and why?
Another thing. How old do these boys look? They look like 3 and 4 year old boys to me. They have to be 7 and 8 year old in order for that baby to be Alison. We already know by now that Jason is 7 years older (Jason's prom was 7 years ago) than Alison and Charles 8 years older (He is 15 months older than Jason). While Bethany is 3/4 years older than Alison.
So if Jason and Charles really are 3 and 4 year old in that picture, that would mean Bethany is the sister Charles is kissing and not Alison. This also confirms that it's impossible for Bethany to be Charles twin since Charles is 4 years older than Bethany. But he could as well be her older brother.
I had a dream that I was in PLL as a main character. The girls and I were getting threats from A. Anyway I went to investigate a building with Emily. We looked around and some freaky **** was happening (noises etc). We got chased by something we couldn't see but somehow got split up. I ran out of the building and ran away from it thinking Emily was behind me. As I was running a team of A in hoodies were running towards me which made me scream but they completely bypassed me and went towards the building. That's when I realized Em was still in. I went after them but was struggling to get in as they blocked it somehow. Eventually when I got in the building they'd all disappeared...but Emily was there on the floor...dead. I woke up, completely shook.
