People usually associate evil roles with real actors in life

I think it depends on what kind of evil we're talking here. Fiona was rotten, yet she was entertaining to watch because of the good acting and comedic timing of Jessica Lange. The character did have some redeemable moments too. As evil as she was, I loved to see her on the screen.

Or...the character could be like the serial killer in Asylum, in which I don't think anyone was really rooting for that killer.

I'm hoping Gaga's character, if evil, is charismatic and amusing while being absolutely horrible
