Britney's singles did phenomenally globally (poor Beyonce), and her albums were actually selling up to par with what the media was making her up to be, whereas Bey's "INDUSTRY CHANGING ALBUM," (which just led to a few artists dropping their albums on iTunes without any forewarning ), sold on par with the last releases of Rihanna and ****ing Emeli Sande.
It's literally just media hype with her, especially considering the overwhelming majority of "receipts" her stans throw come from opinions regarding biased magazine compositions.
And let's not forget that you're a J. LOL stan, so you really shouldn't talk about hiding behind others.

Exactly. No one denies that Pepcé is a huge celebrity. So huge she could be seen as a "legend" or "icon" of our time, whatever those terms mean. But she is basically a Kim Kardashian who sings on the side. The Hive know this, that's why they always come across as insecure, always inflating receipts and twisting her celebrity as if it's a position on a music chart. They can't stand how unsuccessful she is as an artist compared to her peers. They would trade all those skyscrapers and Instagram followers if she could just get another hit.
The Bénhive may be able to cover up BÉYSTS array of consecutive worldwide underperforming singles with her ability to sound engineer and pick quality songs from her imprisoned writing camps but they also need to remember that emerging acclaimed artists like Emeli Sandé and D∆WN are coming to PUNCH her back into last place (and are currently doing so)
