He did a lot of work on BEYONCE, Magna Carta, and 20/20 Experience... but 20/20 is really the only one where I think he did the bulk of the work. Idk.
I really feel like she's going to producers and having them tweak previously recorded songs. When Mike Will and DJ Mustard both hinted at being involved with Promised, that was my immediate thought. I still kind of think it's true. I don't think she's working on more than 25 songs, but I
do think she's trying to tweak and perfect them with the help of a wide-range of artists and producers.
I might be completely wrong but that's been my feeling throughout the era. Like, as she finally narrowed in on her vision she decided to enlist an all-star team. That, and she's approaching artists to fill in the blanks of what she's already completed. Rather than a random filler song, get a song that fits perfectly between song A that she recorded in April 2014 and song C from January 2015. If she thinks [insert producer here] could help her achieve the desired sound, she approaches them.
Idk though. That's just the impression I've always gotten. I still don't think the album was scrapped or anything, she's just undecided on a lot of stuff
Back to Timbaland--- some of his 20/20 part 1 songs were good. A production kind of like Don't Hold The Wall or Tunnel Vision could be cute
she has the look, vocals and dancing skills to pull it off
