For the facts I listed in my post, it was risky to release 1989. Tons of people, chart analysists, critics, etc were skeptical of it. Hell, even I as a stan was thinking she'd have a lower debut week than Red.

Saying "Taylor is basic and has been basic since 2006" just screams pressed. An artist who is as much of a force as a songwriter as she is, clearly is not basic.
