A really, really good pop album. I like every song. Definitely not let down and I have to strongly disagree with the critics. I think it's quite a personal album lyrically and while the sound is very much of this time, it's a very well done album.
I've grown to love the new version of "Eyes Shut". It's my favourite song on the album and one of the best songs of the year (even if it's not exactly new but whatever). This is such a solid debut. It was truly worth the long, long wait.
Also, is there a non-acoustic version of "Ready for You" available? The acoustic is alright but I'd like to hear the song with a proper instrumentation.
