1. Britney - Don't care if she's lipping. My eyes were on Britney the entire time and that says a lot.
2. Beyoncé - My fave Bey performance as well!
3. Jlo - Such a great performer. Can't wait to see her Vegas show.
4. Carrie - Serving us church vocals. Queen of country.
5. Mariah - She's belted better but still very good vocals.
6. Ariana - Great way to debut herself to America.
7. Ciara - Always been a good performer.
8. Rihanna - The end of the performance is cool but the rest was just normal.
9. Gaga - Crazy in a good and bad way.
10. Katy - It's nice to see Katy stripped down from the visual frenzy.
11. Ellie - She sounds good but there's no serious notes so it just falls behind others.
12. Nicki - It was good until she acted a damn fool. Thank god she's mostly sane now.
13. Taylor - She's only walking around and the playback overpowers her completely.
I tried to be fair to both artists that are more performers than vocalists and those that are indeed vocalists. Britney to Jlo were all packed performances with energy. Carrie to Ariana were great vocal performances. Ciara did a good job but not as good as the other dance performances. Gaga was interesting but sort of a horror movie at the same time. Rihanna to Ellie were cute but they didn't do anything crazy with their vocals. Nicki acted a fool, and Taylor was basically taking a walk on stage.

I just don't think there ever will be another performance like Beyonce's. It is so unreal. Jennifer Lopez is underrated as a live performer, she doesn't have a great voice but she sounds good during live performances and she dances her ass of. Top 4 are really great, the middle ones are either entertaining vocally or visually, but not both, choosing toned down performances was NOT the right decision for Katy Perry or Rihanna, that Taylor Swift performance is boring and sounds terrible, and does Ellie really not have enough live performances to choose something that's not the Today Show?!

My Top choices for this round is a mix of simplicity but yet heartfelt performances. Rih, Mimi and Katy has that. Bey, Jlo and Gaga had me with their visual presentation. The rest were good. I only disliked 2-3 performances

None of them looked totally not fanmade but some still managed to be cute on different levels from Ariana to Nicki. Ciara's had no correlation to the song. Jlo's was sort of abstract but not in a good way. Taylor's cover was a corny mess and I'm not sure whether they photoshopped the background or Mariah more in that cover.

Okay, wow at that Pink Print cover... totally using that now! The top 5-6 are really good, the middle ones are just not special, kind of boring or bordering on amateur-looking, and that Jennifer Lopez one isn't really good, at all. Sorry if you made that, but I am currently using a fan made cover for the Booty remix and it certainly isn't that one.

2. Rihanna - The "ella" parts are defintion of catchy.
3. Katy - Definitely her best chorus.
4. Jlo - The most instant chorus she has.
5. Gaga - I feel like the "gaga ooh la la" parts may overshadow a bit but still very appealing.
6. Mariah - One of Mariah's most instantly appealing choruses.
7. Beyoncé - Crazy In Love is better ut this works.
8. Ariana - Not that catchy but it's her most blatant chorus, yeah.
9. Ellie - It's a good chorus but why wouldn't you send me in LMLYD?!
10. Ciara - 1, 2 Step would be my choice but this works as a back up.
11. Nicki - The verses are what made this song.
12. Carrie - Before He Cheats? This isn't even one of her best in my opinion.
13. Taylor - She has so much better plus the breakdown is all that matters in the song.
Britney to Mariah were what I wanted this round. Instantly grabbing choruses. Bey worked well and so did Ariana even though I don't care for the song. Ellie & Ciara were nice but had better options. Nicki & Carrie are less chorus based songs and Taylor just has so many catchier tunes.

It seems like some of you confused "Best Single Chorus" with "Most Popular Single Chorus", because I know Beyonce, Lady Gaga, Carrie Underwood, Taylor Swift, Rihanna, etc. have choruses that are more substantial/catchy/significant than those. It's disappointing because only the top 3 were really good choices. That Mariah chorus is completely unlistenable! Where was We Belong Together? or even All I Want for Christmas Is You?

The majority of these choruses are infectious and well-written, especially the first six. Ellie's and Cici's are good choruses but don't shine next to the others. I never liked Single Ladies as a song so the chorus does nothing for me.
