Okay, let me get a little personal for a minute. I lost my Dad in 2013. He had just turned 59 years of age. I just moved back home to Nashville after a 3 year stay in the Midwest. The day I came back is the day he died, completely unexpected. This man was my best friend. I would leave a party to talk to him, we were inseparable. We talked about music constantly, and he was one of CU biggest fans. He said See You Again was his favorite song on the album, I argued with him saying "TBC was her best song", we then started arguing about what was the better song. He stated, "when I die, I want that song (See You Again) to be played at my funeral" not even 6 months later he died, and I honored his wishes to play that song at his funeral. This song will forever be one of my favorites. Emotional, sentimental, moving, touching. At the same time he passed away we bought an apartment on the lake.
In a place far away
Where the water meets the sky
The thought of it makes me smile
You are my tomorrow
So yea, I can't listen to this song without crying. It will forever have a place in my heart, and my dad's short life. Heavenly indeed Mez
