the single is underperforming right now coz she always had great debut numbers but that doesnt mean its a flop give it a time and it will be fine after the MV/some performances

I'm sorry but Selena stans are shading Demi left and right in the Good For You thread, but apparently it's okay for them but not for the people in CFTS thread?
I also don't go in the GFY thread to point out every single red update it gets. I could, but I won't , because it's disrespectful and annoying to the stans, because chances are they already knew about that update anyway so why is there a need to post it with a shady smiley.

BTW does anyone know if there is any sort of hint as to when the music video is going to come out? This has the potential to have such an awesome video and I'm getting so impatient.

We'll definitely get the music video either next week or the week after considering she has already filmed it. I'm wondering why there are no televised performances announced yet. Her team seems to be focusing mainly on radio.

It's summer and she has not a lot of slot. I think she will perform at VMA and probably in some late night show that are still running.

I actually predict the following as their promo plan:

1st - Doing heaps of radio promo in order to secure their support to keep playing the song for the future.
2nd - Drop the MV to gain higher streaming points etc
3rd - Then begin with the T.V. promotion to gain a larger audience and a larger visual element to the song.
4th - VMA's HOPEFULLY, with a large and high budget performance to really put this song to the masses

All of this occurs while radio is still spinning the song, and when people hear the song on radio, they'll go online and check out performances etc which will hopefully guarantee more sales etc.

Idk, imo this could be the perfect plan. If my plan makes any sense and is correct, hopefully her team are smart enough to be thinking the same way

Another thing, I'm really glad she's doing these pool parties, it's good live performance vocal practise. We don't want her first televised performance of the song where she stuffs up the lyrics and sounds a little off. I remember her stuffing up 2 or 3 lines at the first pool party.

Wasn't Heart Attack a mess first time live?

I do remember Tom Poleman (the dude from Clear Channel) say that he heard both single options when she went to their offices. I think that was the point they selected CFTS which is why it was all a tad rushed. Glad they secured the radio deal in time!
