I really think so. There's no way with that kind of number on Youtube and airplay, the sales could be decrease that HARD. I can understand that but why is it Apple music is seeming to effect Demi the most?? is it because it's a new song?

You can't blame Apple Music for this

Yes, the song's sales this week might be done compared to what they would have been before Apple Music came out, but this applies to all songs at the minute, and doesn't explain why CFTS can't compete with the other songs in the top10. You guys are really clutching at the straws to excuse the song's poor performance.

That is coupled with the new iOS update, which means that people can't see CFTS on iTunes unless they manually go into their settings and enable explicit content.

It's cause of iOS 8.4. The other songs in the top 10 arent explicit, hence why it doesn't affect them.

But anyway, since CFTS is new and probably people don't know what it sounds like, while the other ones in top 10, they've heard it, seen the music video,... so they know do they like it or not so as to buy it.

it's an established song that people already know is out. First week sales are all based on fanbase and casual buyers that see the new song atop of the store. Do you know that?

This.... Her fanbase is not strong enough and people aren't really here for her. That's the only reason. People saying "she is doing so well on radio" are delusional because she has a radio deal.

It's a new song on a new platform. Also add in the holiday and you have a situation where the songs going up iTunes are going to skew old until the older generation fully moves over to Apple Music. Either way I think it's going to be pretty fast compared to Spotify and others. Remember iTunes Radio became a top 5 streaming platform after only a few months on the market.
