I was surprised by how much I enjoyed this. I mean, it wasn't great, and it's certainly not on par with 1/2, but I definitely had fun with it. Opening was solid, as I've said. Other than that, mostly focused on the characters and getting a feel for them, and the cast as a whole is a HELL of a lot better than the characters in 3/4 (I mean, you don't have the peaks of Sidney, Jennifer, etc., but you also do NOT have the lows of Tom, Angelina, Roman, Trevor, Olivia, Charlie, Jenny...... God, those movies had some truly dire characters). Favorite character is easily Brooke, also liking Noah and Jake so far. Will is kinda interesting too, since I don't think Scream's ever had a nice guy who's secretly a douche before

The fact that the best actress (and hottest one) was killed off in the opening is the real tragedy.

I was genuinely surprised by the pilot ( and the season trailer looked pretty great).. Some elements were pretty tragic but the characters and acting wasn't as bad as I thought they would be.The actor who plays Noah really ruins the character for me though.

And don't get me started on the cheap 99cent, straight our of k-mart clearance aisle, impression of Roger Jackson's voice. MTV could have loosened up their purse strings a little and brought him back. I was glad that the phone calls made an appearence, though.

This was horribly bad. By the middle of the episode my friends were making so many jokes. The horrible acting, the unlikable characters, and the meh storyline. It's just not believable that these are high school kids. Their reaction to their friend's death was just unbelievable. The entire show needs to be recasted. I deal with enough bad acting on Teen Wolf. But at least they have some redeeming qualities. This DOES NOT! I'll give it one more episode to come correct.

It was decent. One death and two appearences of the killer is not enough. There are not that many likeable characters and they're all are kind of ugly except Carlson Young.

8/10 (it's actually not that high. 6-7 is really bad for my standarts)

What a lukewarm pilot. The acting is meh, the story is meh. The literally copy + pasted Randy's character from the original and renamed him Noah And some other characters too. Like I hope I don't already know who the killer is

I know the show was joking about it but you really can't turn a slasher film into a tv show otherwise you a get a PLL situation where the audience gets tired of waiting for the killer to be unmasked.

I'm going to try two more episodes.

It's already been done well. Harper's Island (minus survivors, but that's not a TV medium issue)

Well it was only the pilot and we have to get a feel for the characters first before more people drop like flies like the character Noah said.

The second mask that they've shown in the trailer of the season is so bad It's just a cheap plastic skull mask and you're able to see the killer's eyes. I'm pretty sure it's some random guy under the mask and one of the characters.

The killer's phrase 'Did you just lock me in or out?' was pretty genius. There's something from the original 'Scream' in it
