Yvess and the rest of the Brilando alliance were all very loyal though. I'm not used to not being able to trust people.
Welcome to ATRL Survivor I guess
Yaaaas bae. Brilando stick out with each other even if we are flopping the last remaining preliminary rounds which led to Funky's elimination that I really felt bad for. We were kinda close before it happened but it all changed. Thats the price you pay for playing Dillon's game.
Trust is the key but you also need to use your brain and outwit other players who will try to ruin your strategy and alliance.

Welcome castaways to your 10th Results Show! This is also the final results show before we merge! Below will be the rates of each entry from all four judges. You were all ranked from 1-16 which will correlate to a score using the list below. Your average score will be added into a tribe average which will determine which tribes are losing a member.
After I post the scores, I will give you all a few minutes to look them over before I post the final results which will include how you ranked on your tribe, against all castaways, and finally the overall tribe rankings this round.
Only the losing tribe will be heading to Tribal Council. However, if you placed 1st on that tribe's ranking, you are immune. The rest of you will be officially a part of the Merge.
With that said, here are the scores...
Tribe Mawimba
1. Golden - Ginuwine - Same Ol' G
Quote:
Dylan - 9.5 -The hip-hop ndustry in general is all about still being true to their roots despite fame so I was expecting some urban this round. Helll, even JLo got crap for becoming a diva. Anyway, he's still the "same ol' g" despite having his own cd and being on tv so it's an obvious fit. Nice choice!
Quote:
Ethan - 9 - The hook is perfect for the challenge; the verses, in places, aren’t as strong. In the second verse, he talks about some changes he’s made, but it’s really minor, so it’s overall a great entry!
Quote:
Yvess - 9 - Yes Golden, you have found a song that truly captures this round's required elements. Not fan of this artist but the lyrics are spot on.
Quote:
Mario - 9.5 - He's still the same ol' G despite having a CD out and being on TV. The king of ponies made our point here.
2. dwuw - Ciara - I'm Just Me
Quote:
Dylan - 8 - The fact you've sent more Ciara in than Taylor is hilarious. The song is dreadful but it does fulfill the lyrical purpose of this round which is what really matters. Not as bold of a statement as some other tracks but it's definitely there. Good.
Quote:
Ethan - 6 - While most of it just seems braggy, there is the one repeated line about “I’m just ghetto, I’m just me” that works. Other than that, I don’t see anything along the lines of saying she’s still the same as she was before.
Quote:
Mario - 8.5 - In the second verse she admits she may have actually changed but the song is mainly about what we were searching for.
Quote:
Yvess - 9.5 - This song fits the theme perfectly. I'm just laughing my ass out coz CiCi is so popular during the time this song was recorded and looking at her carrer rn is kinda ironic. Still, A great entry and congrats for snatching ha once again.
3. T-Swizz - Young Scooter feat. BMG Sunny - Money Can't Change Us
Quote:
Dylan - 9 - Who is this? Anyway, this song clearly fits from the title alone. The lyrics are all about still being gangster despite the money so from a rap perspective, it's a nice fit! Nice scrambling Swizz.
Quote:
Ethan - 9 - This is kind of opposite of the example, but it works. He’s saying that fame and money haven't changed him because he’s always been rich, rather than saying that fame and money haven’t change him because he still acts like he did before he got rich and famous. It still works! Horrible song!
Quote:
Yvess - 8.5 - So indie. Great entry overall!
Quote:
Mario - 9.5 - No matter how many money he might get, he and his ninjas will always have each other's backs. Good one.
4. Ares - Macklemore & Ryan Lewis - Make The Money
Quote:
Dylan - 7 - This one is a little more anti-consumerism than about staying down to earth really. It ties along to the theme decently but I feel this would work much better for a Jessie J Price Tag type round than this one. Alright.
Quote:
Ethan - 8 - The hook works very well, and though there are some spots in the verses that stray from the message of the song, it is overall a very good entry!
Quote:
Yvess - 9 - I like it. The chorus is cool!
Quote:
Mario - 7 - It can fit but it's a bit of a stretch.
Dylan - 6 - It starts out good then turns into your average homophobic diss track from Eminem. I wonder what would happen to the world if he made a happy song. Anyway, this is disappointing because I held up the game and you deliver the weakest entry. You already have a penalty so you needed a great entry to cushion the fall but thanks for at least checking in while on vacation as not everyone would have even done that.
Quote:
Ethan - 5 - There is one line in this song that remotely fits, when he says "I'm just a regular guy." However, the song largely is not about how fame has changed him.
Quote:
Yvess - 8.5 - I like how he disses Britney, Nsync and Ricky Martin. Very the usual Eminem
Quote:
Mario - 6.5 - Is he a repressed homo or what? Anywho, the first part of the track was fitting but then it all got lost in the dissing.
6. Sebas - Jennifer Lopez feat. Jadakiss & Styles P - Jenny From The Block
Quote:
Dylan - 10 - Basically the original Glamorous. I was going to use this as an example but I wanted to use Fergie since JLo was already an example this season. "I'm still, I'm still Jenny from the block" says it all. Congrats on that quickness!
Quote:
Ethan - 10 - Perfect!
Quote:
Yvess - 10 - Congrats for snatching an easy 10 entry. Undoubtedly one of JLo's great works on her music career.
Quote:
Mario - 10 - Oh, so here's who snatched THE entry for this round. Congrats on the quickness!
7. wesleywalrus - Demi Lovato - La La Land
Quote:
Dylan - 9 - Love this song. I hope the other judges agree with me that the "la la land machine" is an example of metonymy for the Hollywood life. The repeated "I'm staying myself tonight" verses toward the end of the song take it to a new level. Nice choice, wes! You're back.
Quote:
Ethan - 10 - I love this song! Works very well.
Quote:
Yvess - 7.5 - Still not clear to me if she's pertaining about the fame and riches unlike the rest of the entries I've seen who were able to make it more specific.
Quote:
Mario - 9.5 - When Demi was good Great entry.
Tribe Strujala
1. prezli - Miley Cyrus as Hannah Montana - Ordinary Girl
Quote:
Dylan - 9.5 - This song is still so cute. This whole soundtrack was actually. Anyway, she's experiencing all the glitz and glamour fame comes with but is still a regular girl underneath it all. Great entry for the round prezli!
Quote:
Ethan - 8 - It works pretty well! I was kind of iffy about it because, for the most part, she isn’t talking about how she’s the same as she was. The message of the song is that underneath it all, she’s normal, instead of underneath it all, she’s still the same as she was. So it’s a good choice, but not perfect.
Quote:
Mario - 8 - To me, it seems like she struggles to be that old ordinary girl, but after all she's still that under the double identity and all.
Quote:
Yvess - 9 - Stan for Hannah! Unexpected choice that unexpectedly works well.
2. rl231 - Miley Cyrus as Hannah Montana - Old Blue Jeans
Quote:
Dylan - 8 - A different way of accomplishing what the other Hannah Montana songs do but it works. It's an absolutely dreadful song that I don't ever want to hear again but it's a solid enough fit.
Quote:
Ethan - 8 - Similar to the last Hannah Montana song, she isn’t really talking about how fame and money haven’t changed her. Not a bad fit, but not perfect.
Quote:
Mario - 9 - In my opinion, this HM song fits this theme better than the other. It shows a bit more of that glamourous side and still she's the same girl she was before it all started.
Quote:
Yvess - 9 - Yeah back to back Hannah entries! Like it!
3. Rider - Wiz Khalifa feat. Chevy Woods & Ty Dolla Sign - Still Down
Quote:
Dylan - 8 - It works well enough for me. They're "still down" with the past people in their life despite the huge change in lifetyle so it fits the themein that sense. There are some off topic lyrics but the main gist of the song seems to be maintaining their roots so solid choice.
Quote:
Ethan - 7 - The hook and first verse work pretty well, nothing as explicit as the example but still strong, but then the second verse by Chevy Woods gets kind of confusing. I feel that it strays away from the theme we’re looking for in parts, but it’s not a bad choice!
Quote:
Yvess - 8 - Not really a fan of this choice but I find this song fitting this round.
Quote:
Mario - 10 - Honestly perfect for this round. Slay me Ghaetto!
4. Ivory. - Drake - What I'm Thinking Right Now
Quote:
Dylan - 8.5 - This gets a bit confusing but aww look at Degrassi Drake before he was that laughable rapper we all make fun of on twitter but also really love to listen to. It has one statement of being the same but luckily he has some verses to defend that statement despite a bit of off topic lingo. Good.
Quote:
Ethan - 10 - “Famous, no longer nameless, more game, but I’m the same, I will remain this”. Perfect!
Quote:
Yvess - 9.5 - Drake educating others how they should play in the biz is so nice to listen to. Great choice Ivory!
Quote:
Mario - 9 - It hits the theme but it circles a bit too much around it especially towards the latter half. Still a good pick.
5. Element - Miley Cyrus as Hannah Montana - Just Like You
Quote:
Dylan - 8.5 - It's a tamer version of Ordinary Girl basically. I prefer OG but this works pretty well for the round on its own. She's famous but still an ordinary girl at heart so it's a nice fit Element.
Quote:
Ethan - 7 - Nowhere in here does she talk about how she hasn’t changed at all, so while we do get examples of how fame hasn’t gone to her head, this isn’t a perfect fit for this round.
Quote:
Yvess - 10 - Effortlessly perfect. The best Hannah Entry this round.
Quote:
Mario - 7.5 - The "ordinary girl living in a extra-ordinary world" bit is quite fitting but this is maybe too linked to her double identity issue.
6. Mariah4life - Adrian Marcel - I'm Still
Quote:
Dylan - 9.5 - Nice choice for the round, Glad google was your friend this round. Anyway, the title and the lyrics are exactly what I wanted besides the verses about his ex. Overall, one of the best entries this round!
Quote:
Ethan - 10 - I didn’t care for the song but it fit perfectly for the theme!
Quote:
Yvess - 10 - Surprisingly, The dalgani recruits did well on Hannah Montana Tribe errr Strujala Tribe. Congrats Moo!
Quote:
Mario - 10 - Kii at Adrian Marcel feeling like his name is out there and blown up. The song is great for this theme, though. Congrats, Moo.

Congratulations Tribe Strujala on your third win of the season as a new tribe. Better yet, you have all made the Merge of this season so congrats on that individual achievement.
Tribe Mawimba, you are heading to Tribal Council this round for the first time as a rearranged tribe. Send me a PM with the name of the member you want eliminated from your tribe when you decide. One of you will be heading over to Redemption Island immediately after where you will duel Guero for a final chance in the Merge. However, Sebas is immune from elimination and has also made the Merge as a result. Good luck to the other 6 of you.
I don't know how I'm gonna survive the 4th of July though.
I'm going on vacation on Thursday and I won't have internet until I get back next Monday.
Dillon should delay the game tbh
Good thing you brought that up. To anyone going on vacation, I'll be typing up the schedule tonight so you'll need to PM me the days you're gone and i will allow you to do a round early.
Yaaaas bae. Brilando stick out with each other even if we are flopping the last remaining preliminary rounds which led to Funky's elimination that I really felt bad for. We were kinda close before it happened but it all changed. Thats the price you pay for playing Dillon's game.
