True, the acoustic version slays. I don't have a problem with her appropriating songs like In The Air Tonight though, its more of a throwback than straight up copying.

It really does. Should have included it on the Deconstructed EP tbh.

But yeah, melody is something that's really important to me, which is why I usually love basic pop songs, because the melodies >>>>> LITL has a decent melody in the verses, but the chorus melody is so flat, cheesy and unimaginative. The piano ballad version would have slain (with a better chorus melody).
