I actually watched that and it was weird. She started to hit very weak serves in second set. So it could be that it was ab niggle (injury) like they officially said. She did have the same problem in IW. But it also looked like giving up to me. Can not really fault her for retiring if there was even the slightest hint of injury because its right before the biggest Slam and you need to play safe.
Watched Sloane too. Her relationship with Saviano seems to be working wonders. Nick really is the GOAT at getting these gurls their emotions in check. Stephens playing very good at the moment.
