I'm so happy that this generation will make up for the lack of JRPGs on consoles. I love me some WRPGs but that onslaught/drought was really killing me.. especially after how fantastic both the PS1 and PS2 were. I'm still holding out for The Legend of Dragoon remake and Dark Cloud 3.
I'm playing Suikoden 2 and it's surprisingly good, it has aged really well, battles are fast and fun, the story is interesting and the music is good

Just got platinum in Ar NoSurge and i enjoyed it a lot, the game had a weird pace and the game balance was kinda the pits but the story, music and battle system were excellent

Suikoden 3 is gonna be released on the PSN this week, omgggggggggggg.
OMG Underrated gem tbh. The storytelling was amazing. People hated on it because it broke too many traditions that the first two had.
For me it was 2 > 3 > 1 > 5 > 4. I think V is highly overrated and fans only fawned over it because they a) were just excited about another installment being released, b) it had returning characters like Georg Prime (justified), Killey and Lorelai (both overrated too ) and c) it wasn't Suikoden IV.
Gave in and got Sword Art Online for my vita, haven't even watched the anime yet
Atlus needs to give us a release date for Persona 5 like now
If this were any other game, I'd be sure that it's being delayed tbh. They're so adamant about it being released this year though so I'm not worried in the slightest.
Suikoden II is legitimately one of the greatest games I have ever played. I think playing it right after I really made for a duel experience where so many things came together. Building your castle is a fun highlight, watching it grow, learning more about the allies you have been recruiting. The story is so rich too. Jowy and Luca Blight are incredible characters.
