Selena's status as a celebrity has risen over the years,plus she provided the GP with two legit top ten hits C&GI and THWWIW. Demi on the other hand only had HA, NL and RDC got overplayed in pop radio but they did nothing serious in the charts. Rooting for Demi since Selena's song is meh.
