1. Changing something that's been around for decades is harder than changing something that hasn't even begun yet.

2. Did you know some labels had already signed deals with Apple to get compensated.

3. We need more details about how much Apple is going to pay them. For all we know, the compensations could be worse than what Spotify is paying artists.

1) Most countries already have Friday release dates, only a few didn't (most noticeably the US).

2) Yes I did know. Good thing Taylor was looking out for indie artists and labels as she, herself, said in her open letter to Apple on Tumblr.

3) They're more than likely gonna just pay the royalty rate they already stated.
