Friday isn't even
that bad. It's better than a lot of the hyper-polished, factory-grade, anonymous ilk that becomes popular unironically. If you were to excise a couple of its overly awkward lines ("which seat can I take," mostly) and have someone with a bit more subtlety doing the vocal processing it could've been decent.
I'd rather hear that on the radio than See You Again, Blank Space, or anything by Ed Sheeran.

That review was written during that year and a half period where Kesha was still pretty popular.
Robyn hasn't been a part of the major "pop landscape" that the rest of those inhabit(ed) since like 1997. And even then she was more like present-day Tove Lo-tier.
