I can't stand it.

She's TOO MUCH. She dragged her OWN SISTER's weave 5 consecutive times in 2002-2003 and still didn't call it a career. She then ended Henin's career in Miami in 2008. And has mauled Sharapova 16 consecutive times and still doesn't want to let go. She has her teeth permanently stuck in Sharapova's skin and has created a successful wig-making factory AND STILL DOESN'T LEAVE.

What is wrong with her? Why can't she be like Borg, just retire early?

And now she's cheating her way to more slams, just like Nadal is trying to do with Bernardes.

She's not even that talented. Her career should've been over 4 years ago with that pulmonary embolism

Well I got good news and bad news

The good news is Serena is not going to be playing for another 20 years (at least not ever in singles). She's nearly done. If she gets to 21 this year, I think she will only play next year to try to break 22. Should she get to 23 in 2016, she will play to break 24 by the end of 2017. If she's one away by the end of 2017, she may play 2018. So she has a good 3 seasons left at MOST, and she retires next year EARLIEST (although I don't think 22 is her real goal).

The bad news is that she's focusing on the slams more so she will be hogging them from now on like she has been in the past year. So suffer from somewhere between 1-3 years where Azarenka wins nothing

She said she would retire in 2016, along with Venus. I don't want to see Venus go, but if it means Serena will also retire, it will be fore the greater good of the sport.

@Blue Jeans, Dementieva's retirement seems just like yesterday
2010 was such a mess though: the 3 hour two-set match against Henin, the retirement to Schiavone in the RG SF (), pulling out of Wimbledon, wasting 4 MPs or so against Stosur at the USO
