She's reportedly taken the fall season of The Voice off to work on music and spend time with her family, my guess is we're getting a November release.. But who knows, she's Legend X after all.

I hate what her career has become. It pains me to say this, but I'm kinda moving on from her. I'll always root for her and no other singer breaks through to me like she does, but her priorities are elsewhere now. It's so apparent that this is just a job for her. The passion she used to have for her artistry is seemingly gone. If one would ask me who my favorite female singer is I'd have to think twice nowadays.

I don't think her passion for music has vanished, we wouldn't have gotten Say Something if that was the case. But Lotus was definitely a HUGE step back for her in every aspect. She's been redeeming herself since 2013 (actually giving a **** about her public image), and this is the longest we've waited for an album since Bionic so I'm kinda optimistic about this release.

I mean, she's only released one bad album, and she admits to being completely uninspired during its creation.

I honestly believe she's gonna surprise us this time around!

I liked Lotus. I don't like her appearing in so many seasons for The Voice and I don't like that she doesn't have a clear focus on what she wants to bring across both musically and sonically.

We did get 3 new songs this year, a little guest role, plenty of interviews and 2 viral videos, so this is the most active she's ever been between eras.

Yeah I completely agree. At least this time around (assuming she releases this year) The Voice won't conflict with the era.

2013, 2014 and 2015 have been great years, she's kept herself surprisingly busy despite having no material to promote! I mean she headlined two festivals whilst being pregnant (well, one festival but the Malaysia concert was originally a festival ), performed at Wango Tango heavily pregnant, opened the NBA game, released Woman (), and ofc released a couple of songs.

To me it seems like she has a renewed work ethic, especially in comparison to the Lotus era.

I'm totally agree with your post. It's hard to be a fighter.

You can't keep active a fanbase when an artist don't release music. Thank god her collabs keep the base a bit active, because her own music don't last long. It's like bad year, then a good one and so..

Xtina will always be my favorite singer and I will always support her, flop or not. The lack of info about this next album is annoying, but I just know it will be worth it.
