The only thing I'm worried about is that the Jacksons may be too sad and shocked to go. You know how they are--very reclusive. It would be beautiful if they went to see his tribute tour (and his tribute BET show), and I hope they do, but don't be too surprised if they don't.

I can understand this. But, I do think they will come out at least for BET. It'd be great for all of them to come out and introduce the tribute. It'd be simply amazing, but heartbreaking at the same time.
As for the tour, I'm not too sure about them being apart of going to see it. It's almost on a different level, you know?

why not lady gaga? or adam lambert?

why everyone is saying Britney needs to be here? to lipsync something? you can take Ashley tisdale or someone else.
if Britney spears going to actually show up there, it'll be SHAME to the pop music he made, seriously no offence - but this girl is ICON just from looking good and having Max Martin producing her hit 1# single. - that's what she is.
i think that the only person who needs to be there is Michael, but sadly, he can't.

It needs to be, Janet, Usher, Justin, Ciara, Chris Brown, Neyo, Akon. Madonna can be added as they WERE friends at one point.
I don't think anyone else really matters, the artists who I mentioned have praised Michael as there heroes throughout there careers and not just now, they are like Michael, ENTERTAINERS and represent the spirit of MJ in their performances.

Since Britney IS THE PRINCESS OF POP and she was friends with him it's possible that she'll be there. Handle it

Despite whatever people say about her now, he & Janet still had a big influence for her, especially her early career when she was pretty much the biggest entertainer & dancer. Plus she has worked with him in the past & they have performed together so it would be stupid to leave her off when other newer artists are doing tributes. Justin, Chris, Usher, Ciara are the obvious choices now, but people forget Britney was THAT back in the day before most of these other new people.
I will say that she shouldnt do any tribute to him unless she gives 150% to it and doesnt walk around on stage b/c then that would be an insult. If they ask her to do it, she needs to WORK like she used to.
