I was kind of really confused when I saw Pitchfork drag her and then a lot of the users finding the album tracks filler like. I heard her full EP and then The Fool and thought she has a unique sound to herself. But then I heard her album tracks and I agree with Pitchfork, on the part where Ryn doesn't even know where she stands. The album tracks are almost polar opposite to what the EP suggested. Kind of really disappointed. The EP songs are great, so hoping that she would bring out more of those. No harm in experimenting but an album with the starter as the Promise EP would almost make you believe a certain atmosphere/sound is set. But nope.

But the EP is still part of the album and you cant judge the entire album on a 3-4 filler tracks

So that 49 from Pitchdork is very undeserving

I just ordered the SIGNED album and lithograph even though I'm from Europe and it says US only....go get it!

the traveling, here is home and new could've been replaced with better songs

The ep had that whole ambient/atmospheric or what she would call "fairy pop" vibe going on.
The album just expanded on it.
Only song that actually sounds out of place would be Octahate (it sounded out of place to me on the ep too).

Yeah, I wondered why they let me order it, when I'm from Switzerland and they wrote that it's US only....I even got an order confirmation, so everything's fine. The bundle costs $20 and the delivery is $22.50 or something like that. However, it's worth it as the booklet is signed and the lithograph is beautiful and limited to 500.

Bought the Target and Walmart exclusive versions. Nothing special about Walmart's (unless I'm wrong) HOWEVER the UPC's are indeed different. What's so unique about the Walmart edition, if someone can fill me in.
