N64 will always slay. Double Dash slayed as well but nostalgia helps out MK64 a biT more. Wii is still great but there's a few floppy maps. DS was cute but it's never as fun to play any game on that small screen.
As for Mario Kart 8 (on Wii U,) I haven't played it yet since I don't have a Wii U, but I've seen gameplays and it looks STUNNING. Though I feel like I would absolutely flop so hard if I played it myself.
