She was absolutely stunning tonight
Amazing experience.
She didn't do Brooklyn, Ultraviolence, but UATW/SK/CH2 were all in + she did "Ride" and the first verse/chorus of Old Money which was amazing.
She commented "is this karaoke night" and giggled because after doing OM they kept requesting. She played coy like she didn't know "Serial" though, lol. Saying it was "something new", I was totally expecting a whole 'nother song. And said she'd never done OM before, but I'm pretty sure she has. And that she forgot the lyrics lol.
Also loved when she went down and literally pretty much took a photo/interacted with the whole front row. Everyone around me was praising how down to earth she is.
Grimes was kind of a mess, but I did enjoy the last few songs of her set. And she had some other girl come out and sing some song that I enjoyed. Wanted to Shazaam but phone died b/c I failed charging the night before lol.
But whatever, amazing. I hope she's at Music Midtown again this year in September!
