-A fun ride overall

-For the most part the dinosaurs don't look too computery
-Same epic score from the first JP
-Nice nods to the first JP
The Bad:
-Brice Dallas Howard's Type A character and her banter with Pratt felt a little forced
-When she killed the flying dino, they put too much emphasis on the fact that a girl did that. I almost expected her to start singing "who run the world" behind a "Feminist" flag. Let the girl kill the dinosaur without making such a big deal out of it
-The two brothers were annoying, especially the randomly Mexican older one
-The whole "They're just animals" / "No, they're highly intelligent animals!" arguments Been there, heard that
-The movie is good but it's satisfied with just being good. Where's the kitchen scene from the original? It's not very imaginative or surprising
The Ugly:
-All that fuss about creating a cool dinosaur unlike anything the public has ever seen only for it to look like a slightly modified T-Rex. Why go to all that trouble, money and danger for a T-rex with paler skin and a longer snout?
Overall a good solid B.
But I'm happy it's going to steal the all-time record from Marvel. A dinosaur >>> some weird **** dressed up as a bat or an ant. Always & forever.

Mostly agree. Yes, Chris Pratt is definitely going to play the same exact character for the rest of his life, because, no offense, he's not talented. He's a competent actor that can deliver his lines, and that's it. That's why he leaves no impact with the viewer in any of his recent film roles. He's forgettable and easily replaceable, but at least he's attractive? The raptors looked way too "computery" for me, though.
I liked Bryce Dallas Howard's Type A character (and her cool haircut). I didn't like how they objectified her character by dousing her chest with as much moisture as possible to highlight her breasts for the teenage boys. How is she
drenched in sweat, but Chris Pratt's character is dry even though he's doing all the work? Surprised they didn't make her nipples show through her tank top. It was pretty embarrassing. Agree about the flying dino kill. Agree about the brothers being annoying as f***. Wanted them both dead. Gave the film a B-/C+. It wasn't scary or suspenseful enough i.e. Kitchen scene. It gave me Marvel/Disney vibes because you can tell they were trying to scrub the film of any type of personality so that it won't be too scary or too violent or, frankly, too good to appeal to kids. But even so, I still hope it crushes Marvel and that awful "Furious 7" film that milked Paul Walker's death for sales.
