has anyone noticed the hole in Katys discovery story where they kind of just brush it off/glaze over it? that period in time after she got dropped, shes hinted at it before but i think she had either a drinking or drug problem. in kp3d they brushed on it saying she "felt lost" but i think its mentioned somewhere else..
There wasn't really a hole? As far as I know she was pretty active in trying to breakthrough from 2002-2007.
She was "lost" because she moved to a new place and had new friends and such. She has an unreleased song about it (in addition to Lost) called "LA Don't Take It Away"
I'm sure she wasn't innocent but I doubt she ever went crazy or anything.
Katy has a steady boyfriend, but she doesn't believe in sex before marriage. "I know what it does to people," she says. "One night my boyfriend and I went a little too far and I felt like I'd fallen so far away from God. I doubted myself and my strength. I was so weak at the time in my relationship with Christ."
If someone is going to have sex, however, Katy absolutely believes that person should use a condom: "Some Christians think that if you use a condom, it's premeditated. So nobody uses a condom at all and they have sex and get pregnant the first time."

Yeah, the woman who runs that site posts on here as SmackUTwice and is extremely knowledgeable.
She was still touring fundamentalist churches, for god's sake.
