I already clocked this before, but I will clock it again, and Kworb can back me up: iTunes is IRRELEVANT in all those
small (no scare quote necessary, the small refers to the market size) countries. It's only used by a very very small and specific userbase comprised of mostly expats from white 1st world countries and by local white rich people who travel overseas all the time. No one else actually buys music via iTunes in those countries, it's not statistically significant as a representation of the overall popularity of a song there. Those people tend to listen to a lot more English music and will have heard of AIWFCIY, so they buy it. But in larger markets like Brazil and Mexico, AIWFCIY never climbs that high.
