Only the music video. Forced has never been the word to describe her music. Aaliyahs albums are full of filler and not memorable tho. Even after her death. She is adored for 2/3 pieces where as people celebrate Brandy's full length albums. As they should because he put more effort into her non-singles. Even her flops generating impact on African singing contests.
Racism is deeper than that textbook definition and people still cling to it to prove a point. so yes in that sense it is outdated.
But I will agree that people will use what it means to them to fit their opinion.
The Brandy and Aaliyah arguments would have made more sense if this were 1997/2000.
