"Aaliyah" gave her her biggest first week sales of her career and that was in the 2000s.
And alot of yall dont realize that Aaliyahs singles didnt chart that well because most of her songs wernt released in commercial format. The songs were just sent to radio without physical sale support.
Only charted because of the movie? Aaliyah had hits without them being involved in movies, so that argument is here nor there.
Arent you a ciara stan? Aaliyah was able to actually sell records after her second album.
