Yes, because you stated something i do not agree with. Its a forum. Tell me how gay rights are similar to black, or any other ethnicity rights sans them being considered minorities.

It's not racist to have a preference, it's racist to limit yourself to just one race though. I'm a Latin man who prefers sharp European features but I don't limit myself to just one race if I meet someone else I'm genuinely interested in.
And maybe they should poll black people and see how many of them are homophobic, I'm sure the numbers would be much more significant.

Considering black people are being falsely imprisoned, abused, or murdered by LAW ENFORCEMENT damn near every month, they're not equal at all. We have it just a LIL bit worse. So yeah, they're NOT equal at all. We can agree on that. But that doesn't mean that I don't care equally about gay rights, now does it.
Which is the point I was making when I said and I quote
Quote:
|
Most on here only care about gay rights. **** everyone else.
|
And you quickly proved me right by insinuating that gay rights>>>>>>black rights.

Look, im not looking for a argument but if you genuinely believe black rights have it worse, i suggest you do some research in whats happening in a lot of third world countries and in the middle east.
And i never insinuated anything. Stop taking things out of context.
You have already called me selfish, and only care for myself in what i assume you gathered from the other thread today im just gonna leave it at this.

This is so true, and you can see it in the extreme way white gay men advocate for marriage equality. They want to assimilate so badly.

1. What other thread?
2. WTF do you think I'm keeping it up with you? Do you feel THAT self-important. SMH
3. If you didn't want a debate about my statement you wouldn't have quoted me acting as if what I stated was so absurd.
It's not a matter of who has it worse. It's a matter that I believe that most gays on this site only care about gay rights. You quoting me stating that gays have it worse was and is still totally irrelevant to my original post. You made it seem as if you agree that gays should only care about gay rights because you guys have it worse. Otherwise what was the point of you quoting me stating that they're not even comparable. Are you following?

1 - The pregnant black women thread where you obviously quoted me.
2 - Im self important? seriously i have not even said one bad word against you and you've already bad mouthed me multiple times (And again here)
3 - I didnt expect you to be so abrasive , i can tell its a touchy subject so im sorry if i have offended you. I just wasn't expecting this:

How are they not? And even still, way to prove my point. You expect everyone to go up for gay rights when you don't give a damn about other people. Selfish. But, I'm not surprised.

I quoted a lot of people in that thread. What makes you think you're important enough that I remember YOU specifically? I responded to you based on what YOU stated when you quoted me here. What happened somewhere else has nothing to do with what is happening here. Stop deflecting.
You admitting that you only care about gay rights because you think you all have it worse is selfish. Don't like it? Think it's abrasive? Oh well, nephew. Where did that faux bravado of "don't embarrass yourself" run off to?
Going back to my original post. Some gays here only care about gay rights. My opinion. Not changing. Deal with it.

Yeah.
I hate when white people hit on me on jackd or any dating app or site because it's always "lemme see that BBC", "I want u to stuff that BBC in my white hole", or "I love choclate."
And then i hate watching black/white interracial **** because white person is always making some racial remark, especially if they're the top.

Yes, but white people have the ability to stop listening to "black music" and still have the opportunity to be judged as white people.]

Yikes, did anyone even read the article?
Those statistics reveal stereotypes, not all of which are negative (not that I condone stereotyping at all).
People need to stop throwing around "racism" every chance they get. Not everything that has to do with race is racism. For example, thinking a black guy has a big di*k is not racism, nor is thinking a white person has good credit.
Racism has to do with feelings or beliefs of superiority. As in you view another race as either below (or above) you, for any reason. But merely thinking latin men are crazy in bed is NOT racism.

It's funny because the last time they polled white people they just made sure all you homos kept no rights.

Try being a black gay male for a day, you'll face opposition and be ostracized from every angle: Black people hate you, gay people hate you....and the kicker and most ironic: black gay men hate and avoid each other due to self-loathing caused by the two minority groups they belong to. Being a double minority truly sucks because you virtually fit in NOWHERE. I've tried to be strong for so long but I'm losing my will to live. I'm tired of being alone all the time, I'm tired of people hating me for no reason.

I'm sorry that you've had experiences that led you to type that second paragraph, but let me tell you that your experience is not at all the reality of "being a black gay male for a day". And as such you should not try to force your experiences on an entire demographic.
While I am gay and black, I have experienced none of the negativity you speak of. Literally none. In fact, I've had absolutely fantastic ( sexual & non-sexual) encounters with men from all races. As have I dated men who were black, white, and "latin", and with no variations to how I was treated among them. With that said, it would not be responsible for me to then proclaim from the mountaintops "try being black and gay for a day and see how wonderful it is, and how everybody is so accepting." And it would not be responsible because those are MY experiences, not the universal experience of a gay black male. Same applies to your negative situations.
With that said, I hope you have better encounters in the future. My advice is to try developing a new mindset first. We see the world according to our beliefs, so if you're looking for racism and homophobia, you're sure to find it. This can literally change your world. If that doesn't help, then perhaps you can move to another location where the prejudice you face isn't as strong. Just don't think that because you're gay and black, you'll never find a home. Sometimes it takes work, and more for others, but it's certainly possible. Good Luck

Being ignorant to racism doesn't mean you didn't experience it. It means you didn't know it was racism at the time it was happening to you. You would need to live in his shoes to be able to suggest that he is at fault for people treating him poorly because he's black/gay. Right now I'd say you don't have enough information to make the claims you've made TBQH. Once you've experienced the same situations only then could you maybe be qualified to speak to it.
