1. Because they were so damn secretive about it as if it needed to be kept a secret in the first place.

2. They announced it like it would be a MAJOR thing.

Who does all that for some vegan mess? They did too much and in response got a "doing too much" response. They could have just stated that Bey would be discussing her vegan diet again but they knew no one would tune in for THAT so they tried to play it up.
