The performance of "Unconditionally" at the American Music Awards led to accusations of cultural appropriation and racism from Asian-American groups and media outlets from the Wall Street Journal to Psychology Today

1.2M for a 2nd single is absolutely tragic, especially when the previous and the next sold 6M each

Iconic.

Really tho, Uncle was the second worst single during the SPIRM era.
At least she had Black Stallion to saved it.

The shameless promo
By the way, i just noticed Roar is above Dark Horse on the VEVO charts now. Will this be a classical case of the better song winning in the end?

What's her best performance of Roar? Can't decide if it's Hollywood Bowl, VMAs, or Super Bowl

Super Bowl 'cause the lion.
I hate the ones with the skipping part. So lame and unnecessary.

Probably because DH is practically at 1b views now so the views are slowing down a bit. Roar still needs pushing. Blank Space is coming fast. Last time I checked BS was almost at 930m, while Roar is yet to crack 970m.

Nah roar has been outperforming DH for awhile now despite being older.
It'll overtake DH in the end.
The better song always wins

It's kinda funny that DH overtook Roar, but now Roar is taking over DH again. Either way, both songs are iconic and its rare that an era gets TWO songs of such an iconic level, usually artists are lucky to even get one.
Firework was the only song to reach this level from TD imo.

E.T. is largely forgotten and Cali Gurls' views are tragic. They don't even come close to Firework, Roar and Dark Horse.
Those three are the trinity of Katy singles tbh. Hot N Cold is probably fourth.
