I take the TEAS V on Monday. I feel like I'm underestimating it because the couple of hours I did study the official study guide I felt like a lot of it was common sense and/or just simple.

It's not because of my own personal experiences. I come from a family with money (high socioeconomic class). I'm doing well for myself and will continue to improve because I'm still not where I want and need to be; however, I just find it very hard for people like Tyrone in the hood to overcome institutionalized racism and the system that was built to keep people like him down and actually make it. I agree with both points, but we have black leadership in lots of cities and it still hasn't done much. The criminality won't stop until people have consistent sources of income, point blank. We need to take back the stores in our neighborhoods and try to keep as much money in our communities as possible.

I can agree with that. Case in point, Baltimore. That city is still corrupt, but at the same time they do have some black officials so not all hope is lost as opposed to let's say Ferguson. Overall, there are a lot of things that need to be done in the black community.

I'm so mad NHB closed the week I joined.

I'm still glad I was in ATRL era were Blogs were unmoderated though.
