Taylor swift was just as young as rihanna when she debuted though so don't try ut with the teenager and 25 year old (she was also a teenager when she wrote mean, the double grammy winning song all by herself).

And I think having a 11 year old girl literally go from record to record store handing out copies of her album until she finally gets signed and then taking a massive risk by dropping that major label to start off with a small indie label just for creative freedom and turning into the biggest popstar today is definitely equally empowering.
