I don't like saying "big" words but I think that if the album drops out of nowhere it's gonna be the biggest first week for a Rihanna album! And I think the best way to do this is to say "MY ALBUM IS OUT NOW" after performing on a huge event (award shows, etc) AND releasing simultaneously a "messy-funny" video for BBHMM on VEVO. Can you imagine this? The internet will go crazy and she is gonna make headlines within seconds. Yea this is gonna work (at least for the 1st week ) even if the album is the worst of her career.

I see it having a decent first week due to the fact that it's her first album in a long time so the fans + some of the GP will buy it (assuming they'll release it the "traditional" way), but yeah, I agree that the album will not have legs unless she has some kind of big hit preceding its release.

That's why I'd like her to do the usual September lead single-November album release cycle once more and put these 3 singles on the standard or deluxe edition only idk but kind of starting fresh instead of how things are being handled right now.

First week sales (and album sales in general) are so meh right now for everyone (except Taylor). I don't think that a huge hit will boost the sales of the 1st week.
