Just look at the OTR-Tour. To me personally, this was Bey at her best next to Beyonce Experience and I Am... Yours (live @Wynn). I loved the way the show flowed, and I can only imagine how an album of both of them could turn out to be an experience in its own right.

Its kinda funny with the Hive. Even though everyone knows Bey has never let anyone down musically, people always seem to underestimate her ear for great music and her capacity of delivering a great body of work. Im 100% sure, especially due to her recent growth and the way she appeared after her Grammy loss: the album is going to be superb!

Why tho? She didn't care about singles and her last album was her most relevant, most talked about and will be her most remembered album. Way more than even DIL with it's 4 top five hits.

I think singles is important. Both are important, but for her legacy singles are a most imo, people look back and think what songs made them huge.

it all boils down to whether she feels like promoting or not. Shes Beyonce, she can do whatever she wants.

Beyoncé's legacy is already cemented though. This is the stage of her career when she can afford to do what she wants. She's made her mark and thus can beat to her own drum. She has as many hits, if not more than many legends. I think it's more important now to focus her legacy on quality and excellence rather than catering to radio and producing fluffy music that is popular, but lacks depth. Making great music, innovating and all that is way more impressive than engineering hits that are promoted endlessly.

Yup. Like a fan said on another forum, she "invested" in her own career. Each hit, every single performance she put her heart and soul into, every popular catchphrase she coined etc, were all "deposited"... so even if a single or two flops, it's whatever. Her bank is still good and the legacy she has built will far outweigh that. Bey is not like all these other popstars that are defined by their last successful musical endeavor.
