I was in labor for 5 hours. It was horrible. They had to put me on oxygen. I was struggling to push because my epidural was too strong and they had to give me an episiotomy to which I'm still recovering from to this day. Because I couldn't really feel ****, I was struggling to actually push so it wasn't really painful after I got my epidural. The contractions weren't too terrible either, but I have a high pain tolerance because of my sickle cell.

I fell in love with my son from day one, from the moment I realized I was carrying him my life changed forever. The first time I laid eyes on him I cried and I honestly don't see how anyone can NOT have a whirlwind of emotions.
